Our client has the wider Supply Chain function, the Incoming Supply Chain team are responsible for the bulk stock movements from supplier origin to the Fulfilment Centers, as well as bulk movements between the different global facilities.
Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, you will be working as part of the Supply Chain Leadership Team. Working closely with the Regional Supply Chain Director, you will have overall responsibility for the Incoming Supply Chain.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
o Global intake management working with our clients Buying and Merchandise teams
o Management of our Global partners related with the movement of goods to our Regional Fulfilment Centers
o Full budgetary accountability for all freight jets
o Performance reporting of weekly KPI’s with applicable actions recognized and carried out where required
o Confirming a strong working relationship is upheld with all internal customers (e.g. Logistics Dept, Fulfilment Centers, Buying & Merchandising, Finance,
Procurement, Legal, etc.)
o Managing the annual freight tender process with the Procurement Dept., whilst delivering cost savings and conducting benchmarking exercises throughout the
o Being a key point of contact for Retail teams in assisting with complex projects, such us Supplier Compliance.
o Continued management support & development of direct reports
Experience and skills
o Substantial experience of the import Supply Chain functions, comprising a sound understanding of standard freight terms
o Proven experience of Supply Chain analysis and management within a fast-paced environment
o Proven experience in successfully managing a team, stakeholders.
o Experience of operating within a global business
o Budget management experience
o Previous retail and e-commerce experience are desirable but not essential
o Ability to work within a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to rapid change
o Excellent organizational and communication skills
o Able to build & maintain strong relationships at all levels
o Strong leadership skills
